Driver experience
Streamlined cockpit
The uncluttered cockpit reflects the exterior’s Scandinavian design. A free-standing touchscreen combines driver information with centre-display controls in one location.
Ergonomic seats
Ergonomic front seats are designed to reduce pressure and shoulder strain, with the comfort and safety approach of Volvo’s larger cars. Twelve power-operated driver settings tailor the position. Slim seat backs leave more rear legroom.
Sport steering wheel
A grippy sport-style wheel puts cruise control and Pilot Assist on the left, along with a customisable function button. Audio, infotainment and communication controls sit on the right.
Smooth road feel
The chassis is tuned for agility. Rear suspension and electronic systems work together to support handling, limit skidding and maintain traction.

Cabin seat comfort
Passenger seats follow the ergonomic comfort and safety approach of Volvo’s larger cars. Slim front seats improve rear legroom; the upholstery wraps around the front seat backs for a coordinated cabin.
Practical centre console
Two retractable cupholders slide into the centre console; pushing the frame back reveals small-item storage. Rear passengers have a removable box that is easy to clean and can be used outside the car. Floor-level space accommodates bags or takeaway food. Large door pockets are made possible by the dashboard soundbar arrangement.
Panoramic roof
The fixed panoramic roof extends across the car and from the windscreen to behind the rear seats. Tinted, coated glass limits glare and blocks approximately 80% of the sun’s heat radiation, reducing the need for a shade and helping keep the cabin cool.
Device storage
A space under the display holds two devices, including larger phones. Higher equipment levels add a wireless charging pad. Up to four USB-C ports provide charging, and rear occupants have phone pouches in the seat-back map pockets.
Ambient illumination
Select Archipelago, Midsummer, Nordic Twilight, Forest Bath or Northern Light on the centre display. Slowly changing nature-inspired colours illuminate door panels, door pockets and front-seat storage; ambient sound can accompany the selected theme.
Interior materials
Harvest uses light recycled textiles with contrasting Nordico lower sections. Seat upper sections and door inserts use 100% recycled polyester. The cushions and lower backrests use supple, durable, easy-clean Nordico made from bio-attributed PVC.
Dark woven-flax decor has a carrier with 30% recycled content. Indirect panel lighting is optional.
Pine combines forest-inspired green/yellow tones with upper seat textile made from 30% responsibly produced wool and 70% recycled polyester. Cushions and backrests use easy-clean Nordico with recycled materials and bio-attributed pine resin from sustainably managed forests.

Mist uses wool-blend seat textile made from 30% responsibly sourced wool and 70% recycled polyester. Its natural texture helps provide warmth in cold conditions and cooling in warm conditions.

Cargo and storage
Boot capacity
Up to 400 litres with the rear backrests upright, or 1,000 litres folded.
Cabin storage
Use the centre console, its removable box and the front floor-level storage space.
Front compartment
The 7-litre frunk accommodates less-used items such as washer fluid or cleaning supplies.
Harman Kardon sound
The optional Premium Sound system is tuned to the cabin. It has nine speakers, including five in the dashboard soundbar, and total power of 1,040 W.
Dirac Unison Tuning coordinates the speakers in frequency, time and space to reduce variation around the cabin. A compact, lightweight Air Technology subwoofer in the rear-wheel housing moves large amounts of air for bass response.
Use steering-wheel buttons, the centre touchscreen or voice commands to operate the system.
